Connect the “open” end of the open/short combination (supplied in the
calibration kit) to reference test port 1, as shown in Figure 5-2.

When the analyzer finishes measuring the standard, connect the “short” end of
the open/short combination to reference test port 1, as shown in Figure 5-2.
