Configuration of Previously Installed Boards
For boards which are already in use, examine the second bank of
switches (SW12.1):
If the board has rocker switches, the configuration is
A.
If the board has slide switches that are marked OPEN on the top or
bottom (or on the side with an arrow toward the top or bottom), the
configuration is
B
(top) or
C
(bottom) respectively.
If the board has unmarked slide switches, the setting of the second
switch (SW12. 1 ) should correspond to one of the settings shown in
Figure 2-28. Use the configuration letter at the top of the column in
which the match is found.
If you are unable to determine the correct configuration by
examining the switch settings, you will have to test the board as
described later in this section to determine the correct
configuration.
Mark the board with the corresponding configuration letter
(A, B,
or
C)
for
reference in resetting the switches.
