5. Remove the AUDIX Voice Power Application Software by following
this procedure:
a.
Log in as
root
if
not already logged in.
b. At the # prompt, type removepkg and press (Enter).
c.
Select the number to remove AUDIX Voice Power
application software and press (Enter).
The system displays a confirmation request.
Confirm.
Do you really want to remove AUDIX
Voice Power Application Software?
Strike ENTER when ready or ESC to stop.
d. Press (Enter)to confirm the removal of the package.
The package will be removed. The system displays:
Do you wish to save voice messages,
personal names and greetings, and the
subscriber database information (y/n)?
e.
Type
y
and press (Enter).
It is possible that there will not be enough room on the hard
disk to remove Release 2.0 and save the database, and
then reinstall Release 2.0. In this case, the following text is
displayed:
There is not enough room on your disk
to save your application data (e. g.,
subscriber data, group lists, etc.),
and later re-install this application
software.
If you wish to re-install
this application software, you must
answer
‘no’
to the question about
saving voice messages, personal names,
etc.
However, you may backup your
