7.1.5.7. RS-232 Report Function
The iDAS can automatically report data to the communications ports, where they can be captured with a terminal
emulation program or simply viewed by the user using the APICOM software.
To enable automatic
COMM port reporting, follow the instruction shown in Section 7.1.5 then press:
Starting at the EDIT CHANNEL MENU
SETUP X.X 0) CONC: ATIMER 1, 800
PREV NEXT INS DEL EDIT PRNT EXIT
SETUP X.X NAME: CONC
<SET SET> EDIT PRNT EXIT
Continue pressing <SET or SET> until ...
SETUP X.X RS-232 REPORT: OFF
<SET SET> EDIT PRNT EXIT
Use the PREV and
NEXT keys to scroll to
the DATA CHANNEL
to be edited
SETUP X.X RS-232 REPORT: OFF
OFF ENTR EXIT
EXIT discards the new
setting
ENTR accepts the
new setting
Toggle these keys to
turn the RS-232
REPORT feature
ON/OFF
