(2) Safety device in CC-Link IE Field Network
A device which is set in the receive data storage device/send data storage
device of the safety communication setting is called safety device. The safety
communication setting can be set when selecting "CC IE Field (Master station
[Safety]) " or "CC IE Field (Local station [Safety])" for network type.
POINT
• The labels which are assigned to the receive data storage device/send data
storage device are regarded as safety device,
• The setting of the receive data storage device/send data storage device is set in
the Ethernet/CC IE/MELSECNET setting of the network parameter.

In a program for safety programmable controller, the safety devices are highlighted
on a ladder program.

Safety devices are highlighted on a ladder program as follows.

Bit device
Word device bit specification
The safety device names are filled with yellow (Default).
Word device
The safety device names are filled with yellow (Default).
Digit specification for bit device
When all the bits specified by digit specification are safety devices, the device
names are filled with yellow (Default).
Digit specification for bit device
(Safety/normal mixed device)
When the safety device(s) is/are included in the information of the bit, specified
by digit specification, the device names are filled with green (Default).
