RIO Cable Failure at
Primary End
In a dual cable system, if only
one cable fails, the Error A or
Error B indicator on the RIO
head lights instead and the
system continues to operate.
When the RIO cable fails at
the Primary end, input data
may be reset to 0 for one
scan because the
communication failure to the
drop occurs before the
broken link is detected.
