Removing the front brakes
Remove the parts in the order listed.
Refer to “FRONT AND REAR WHEELS”.
The following procedure applies to both
of the front brakes.
1 Brake shoe 2
Refer to “INSTALLING THE FRONT
BRAKES”.
2 Front brake cable (drum side) 1
3 Brake shoe plate 1
Refer to “REMOVING THE FRONT
BRAKES” and “INSTALLING THE FRONT
BRAKES”.
4 Brake camshaft lever 1
5 Brake camshaft 1
7 Left front brake cable (lever side) 1
6 Right front brake cable (lever side) 1
8 Front brake lever 1
For installation, reverse the removal pro-
cedure.
