ASSEMBLINGTHE CRANKCASE
1. Thoroughly clean all the gasket mating sur-
faces and crankcase mating surfaces.
2. Install:
(onto the crankcase mating surfaces)
3. Install:
dowel pins
timing chain
TIP
Install the timing chain so it is not visible through
the opening in the left crankcase .
4. Install:
crankshaft
crankcase (right )
5. Tighten:
crankcase
CRANKCASE AND CRANKSHAFT
12 Nm (1.2 m • kg, 8.7 ft • lb)
