1. Install:
crankshaft assembly
crankcase
timing chain
To avoid scratching the crankshaft and to
ease the installation procedure,lubricate the
oil seal lips with lithium-soap-based grease
and each bearing with engine oil.
TIP
Put the timing chain in parallel into the crank
case, then use hands to place the crank shaft
Ass’y into the crank case. Manually rotate the
crank shaft to check whether it is tightly engaged
with the timing chain. (if not, install again)
