Express Script
From the Express Script launch screen, you have the following options:
To proceed with the Express Script Installer Menu Wizard, use the Up/Down arrow keys on the Installer
Remote to select/highlight Express Script. Then, press OK on the Installer Remote.
Note: You can select the “Express Script” option if you want to congure Pro:Centric settings on this TV,
even if you do not intend to complete the TV conguration using the Express Script. After you congure
the Pro:Centric settings, you will have the option to exit the remainder of the wizard, if desired.
To exit the wizard without completing any conguration, use the Up/Down arrow keys on the Installer
Remote to select/highlight Exit and press OK.
Congure Pro:Centric Settings
The next wizard screen enables you to set up the Pro:Centric feature of the TV. By default, the Data
Channel is congured for Auto Search, which enables the TV’s Data Channel Auto Search feature to set
the Data Channel value. See item 119 DATA CHANNEL description on page 24 for further information on
the Data Channel Auto Search feature. The Pro:Centric Mode default setting is “Conguration Only,” which
enables remote management only. That is, the TV will search for TV E-Z Installation data downloads;
however, Pro:Centric application data will not be downloaded, i.e., Installer Menu item 098 PRO:CENTRIC
will be set to 0.
Express Script Installer Menu Wizard
The Express Script Installer Menu Wizard guides you through the process of setting up the essential items
for most hospital TV viewing applications and also enables you to congure the Pro:Centric settings on the
TV. The wizard will appear on the screen each time the TV is turned ON, until conguration is completed or
the wizard is exited. Use the Installer Remote to make selections and complete each step.
Note: If it has been completed or exited and therefore does not display, the Express Script Installer Menu
Wizard can be re-activated; however, this requires that factory defaults be restored on the TV(s). Refer to
Reference section, “Restoring Factory Defaults on the TV(s),” for further information.
Note: If you plan to create a customized Master TV Setup using the procedure described on pages 25 to
28, transfer (Teach) a Master TV Setup to a Target TV, or congure a TV for FTG Mode of operation, be
sure to exit the Express Script in order to avoid setup conicts that may cause the TV to malfunction.
Note: If you bypass the Express Script, pillow speaker functionality will not be enabled
unless you set Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE appropriately. See the “Installer
Menu” section of this document for further information.
Note: If you press CC or on the Installer Remote to exit the Express Script Installer Menu
Wizard at any time while it is in progress, any settings made will not be retained.
