C-8 Removing Pad for Cleaning
You must remove the harness system to remove the
pad on the plastic shell.
Remove the Elastic
Straps from Bottom of
Child Restraint

Remove Lower Harness
Guides
(on select models)
Remove both lower harness
guides
(A) in bottom of
child restraint under recline
stand.
Push harness guide lip
toward outside of plastic
shell
with one hand while
pulling harness guide from
the front with the other.
Lower Harness Guides
A
Rotate metal retainer, then
insert retainer up through
the plastic shell and pad.
From the top, pull
buckle free from plastic
shell and pad.

Remove Headrest Pad

Push down on one edge
with one hand while
pulling out on the harness
guide from the front with
the other hand.
