CHAPTER 8 Project
8.1 Project Menu
The Project menu allows the user to create a new project, manipulate and save files,
and perform other operations.
The Project menu provides the following commands:
[New] command
[Open] command
[Close] command
[Save] command
[Rename] command
[Import File] command
Project menu
[New] command
Creates a new project.
Choosing this command displays the [New Project] dialog box. In the box, enter the
desired project name and the name of the directory where the new project file is to be
saved.
After Create to project from SOFTUNE project file. check box is checked when Softune
C Checkers project file is made from SOFTUNE Workbenchs project file, SOFTUNE
Workbenchs project file is specified for the box under that.
[Open] command
Opens an existing project.
Choosing this command displays the [Open] dialog box. In the box, specify a project file
that has been created using the [New] command to open the project file.
Project files have the .cpj identifier.
[Close] command
Closes the currently opened project file.
If the project contains a file that has been edited, choosing this command opens a
confirmation dialog box asking whether the file should be saved before the project file is
closed.
[Save] command
Saves the contents of the currently opened project file, overwriting the previous contents.
Choosing this command does not close the project file.
To close the project file, choose the [Close] button.
