TX METHOD

This field displays a list of the methods that we will allow the peer to authenticate us with. This is
of use when a peer wants to do
PAP just to get your password. None is selected when you do not
want to be authenticated by the peer.
PAP, CHAP, or EAP is selected when you will let the peer
use one or all of the authentication protocols.
CHAP or EAP is selected when you will let the
peer use only one of the encrypted authentication protocols.
EAP is selected when you will let
the peer use only the
EAP authentication protocol.
TX USERNAME
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
The username that the peer will use to authenticate the ATLAS 550.
TX PASSWORD
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
The password that the peer will use to authenticate the ATLAS 550.
DEBUG LOG
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
The following events can be viewed in the event log when PPP events have been turned to INFO.
LCP DEBUGGING
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
This turns on LCP negotiation debugging.
IPCP DEBUGGING
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
This turns on IPCP negotiation debugging.
BCP DEBUGGING
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
This turns on BCP negotiation debugging.
AUTHENTICATION DEBUGGING
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
This turns on authentication debugging.
UNKNOWN PROTOCOL DEBUGGING
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
