FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE
The treadmill console offers an impressive array of
features designed to make your workouts more effec-
tive and enjoyable. The console features an iFit Live
technology that enables the treadmill to communicate
with your wireless network. With the iFit Live mode,
you can download personalized workouts, create your
own workouts, track your workout results, and access
many other features. See www.iFit.com for complete
information.
In addition, the console features twenty-eight onboard
workouts—seven calorie workouts, seven intensity
workouts, seven speed workouts, and seven incline
workouts. Each workout automatically controls the
speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you
through an effective exercise session.
When you use the manual mode, you can change the
speed and incline of the treadmill with the touch of a
button. As you exercise, the console will display instant
exercise feedback. You can also measure your heart
rate using the handgrip pulse sensor.
You can even browse the Internet or listen to your fa-
vorite workout music or audio books with the consoleʼs
stereo sound system while you exercise.
To turn on the power, see page 14. To set up the
console, see page 14. To use the manual mode, see
page 15. To use an onboard workout, see page 18.
To use an iFit Live workout, see page 19. To use
the Internet browser, see page 21. To use the set-
tings mode, see page 22. To use the maintenance
mode, see page 24. To use the stereo sound sys-
tem, see page 26.
Note: The console can display speed and distance in
either miles or kilometers. To find which unit of mea-
surement is selected, see step 5 on page 23. For sim-
plicity, all instructions in this manual refer to miles.
IMPORTANT: If there are sheets of plastic on the
console, remove the plastic. To prevent damage to
the walking platform, wear clean athletic shoes
while using the treadmill. The first time you use the
treadmill, observe the alignment of the walking
belt, and center the walking belt if necessary (see
page 30).
