Sound Only
Always test your monitor before using it the first time and then on a periodic basis.
Before testing your monitor, complete the setup process as described above.
On the back of the Nursery Unit select one of the following three functions:
• Sound & Movement: You will be able to hear your baby's sounds, see sound lights, and hear a “Tic” sound with
every movement your baby makes. If no movement is detected, the “Tic” will stop and after 20 seconds the alarm
will sound.
• Tic Off: In this mode you will not hear a “Tic” with every movement. You will still hear your baby's sounds and
see sound lights, and your baby's movement is still being detected. The default setting is “Tic Off.”
• Sound Only: The Movement Sensor is disabled but you will still be able to hear your baby's sounds and see
sound lights. Your Angelcare® works like a regular sound monitor when set to “Sound Only.”
Turn the Parents' Unit ON by selecting either channel "A" or "B". Make sure
it is set to the same channel as the Nursery Unit. The green power indicator
light will light up. Choose the channel that gives you the best reception.
Select "Sound Only" as shown.
Adjust the volume to the desired level as shown.
