Securing Base With Vehicle Seat Belt:
• Not all vehicle seat belts can be used with a car seat. Read vehicle owner’s manual and
“Vehicle Seat Belts” section in this manual.

Refer to vehicle owner’s manual to identify the seating locations which can be used
with a car seat. Check for specific instructions for car seat use.
After selecting a seating location, if vehicle seat back is adjustable, adjust vehicle
seat back into most upright position.
Place base with car seat attached rear-facing on vehicle seat with blue lap belt
guides toward vehicle seat back (fig. a).
