9. Check the O-rings for damage, and replace

them if necessary.

10. Install a new oil filter element and the O-rings.

TIP

Make sure that the O-rings are properly seated.

11. Install the oil filter element cover by installing

the bolts, and then tighten them to the speci-

fied torque.
