Check Buckle Position
If the buckle is touching the vehicle belt path opening (Figs. 1 and 2) after the vehicle
belt is tightened, move the child restraint to another seating position in the vehicle to
achieve the correct position (Figs. 3 and 4). Contact your vehicle manufacturer for
assistance if you cannot achieve the correct buckle position.
IMPORTANT! Check that the child restraint is secure before each trip.
Installation in Aircraft
31
This child restraint is certified for aircraft use. Most
airlines in the U.S. and Canada will allow the use of
a child restraint if it is labeled as an approved child
restraint for airline use and fits properly on the
plane. Contact the airline about their policy prior
to traveling.
Rear-Facing Installation
For rear-facing aircraft installation (Fig. 1), see
Lap Belt Installation on pages 22 and 23.
Forward-Facing Installation
For forward-facing aircraft installation (Fig. 2), see
Lap Belt Installation on page 29.
NOTE:
Place the child restraint next to a window to
avoid blocking the aisle.
If the aircraft lap belt is too short, ask the flight
attendant for a belt extender.
