PREPARING TO PAINT:
1. Separatethe partsof t hespeaker. Ifthe speakeris notyet
installed, thegrille canbe removedsimply bypushingthe
clamp screwsforward topush thegrille o ffthe speakerfrom
the inside.If thespeakeris alreadyin thewall, carefullyhook
the g rillewith abent paperclip andpull i tgently awayfrom
the frame[figure6].
2. Whenpainting theframe o fthe speaker, usethe suppliedpaint
masks tocarefully m askoff thefront ofthe speakersto pro-
tect t hedrivers andbaffles whilepainting. Youcan dothis
while t hespeaker isalready installedin thewall (if,for
instance, you’rerepainting theroom). I fyou donot havethe
paint m asks,carefully maskthe speakercomponents using
paper andmasking t ape.

de lapeinture. Vouspouvez peindreun haut-parleurdéjà
installé dansun m ur(p. ex.si vousrepeignez lapièce) mais
si vousn’avez p lusles cache-peintureoriginaux, masquez
bien lescomposantes d uhaut-parleur avecdu papieret du
ruban-cache.
