The top anchorage strap is used for the forward-facing
position only.
Most vehicles made after 9/1/99 already have the anchor
hardware for a top anchorage strap. Refer to your
owner’s manual or call your dealer.
Storage of Top Anchorage Strap:
Belt-Positioning Booster position: Place
top anchorage strap and anchor hook
under the child restraint.
Adjusting the Top Anchorage
Strap
To Attach Top
Anchorage Strap:
Put knee in child restraint
and push down; attach
hook to anchor in vehicle.
Pull loose
end to
tighten
To Adjust Top
Anchorage Strap:
To tighten; pull on free
end of top anchorage
strap.
Forward-Facing Use: 22-40 lbs.(10.1-18 kg), 34-43” (85.1-110 cm), Over 1 year of age.
Lift up to
loosen
To loosen; lift up on top
anchorage lock and push
lock toward top
anchorage hook.
