Securing Base With Lap and Shoulder Belt:
To prevent ejection, metal support ring MUST be used when using lap and shoulder belt.
Follow steps through on page 17 of this manual.

After buckling vehicle belt, install metal support ring (fig. a)
around lap and shoulder belt:
- Install metal support ring on the opposite side of base from
the vehicle buckle (fig. b and fig. c).
- Pinch lap belt and shoulder belt together.
- Slide belts into open slot in metal support ring and hook
under inner leg to position lap belt and shoulder belt
inside metal support ring (fig. d).
NOTE: Both the lap belt and shoulder belt MUST be
inside metal support ring (fig. d).
Tighten vehicle belt to secure the base. Follow
steps through on page 18 of this manual.
Keep metal support ring for future use. Store in LATCH
compartment when not in use.
