Note: In this User Manual, “press a key” means to press the key and release
it, while “hold a key” means to press the key for at least two seconds and
then release it.
Starting Up
Removing the Back Cover and Installing the Battery
Note: If you do not plan to use the battery for a long time, remove it from
the phone and store it in a cool, dry place.
Hold the Power Key to power off
the phone.
Remove the back cover as shown.
Carefully insert the battery with
the contacts located against the
metal springs.
Push down the battery until fully seated.
Replace the cover on the back of
the phone.
Removing the Battery
Hold the Power Key to power off the phone.
Remove the back cover.
Use the SIM card notch to lift the end of the
battery to remove it.
