System Setup
Setting the Rating Level

Select Rating Level using the …† buttons.

Press the ENTER or √ button.

Select the desired Level you want using the …†
buttons, then press the ENTER or √ button.
For example, if you select up to Level 6, discs that
contain Level 7, 8 will not play. A higher number indicates
that the program is intended for adult use only.
Changing the Password

Select Change Password using the …† buttons.

Press the ENTER or √ button.
The “Enter the password” message will be displayed.

Enter the 4-digit password using the 0 to 9 buttons on
the remote control.

The “Confirm the password” message will be
displayed.
Enter your password again using the 0 to 9 buttons on
the remote control.

The Re-enter Password screen appears to confirm
the password. Enter your password again.

Press the ENTER or √ button, and then select On
using the …† buttons.
The Parental Control screen appears.

If you forgot your password, remove the disc.
Press the CH ( ) buttons on the front panel
of the DVD Recorder simultaneously for 5
seconds or more when the power is on. All
settings including the password will revert to the
factory settings.
