areusingtheUPA‐2todriveyourmainleftandrightspeakers,andlettinganAVreceiverpowertherestofyoursetup.The
outputoftheUPA‐2ismuchhigherthanthereceiver,causingthesystemtosoundoutofbalance.UsetheLevelcontrolto
adjustforthisbyturningitcounterclockwiseuntilyoursystemsoundswellintegrated.

7.VoltageIndicator–AllEmoitvaamplifiersoperateoneither115Vor230V.Thevoltageisdetectedwhentheamplifieris
turnedon,andisidentifiedbytheindicatorlights.Therearenouseradjustments,theamplifierautomaticallyadjuststothe
voltage.
8.RemoteTriggerInput/Output–TheUPA‐1canberemotelytriggeredbyanotherdevice,andinturn,remotelytrigger
anotherdevice.Whenaremotetriggeroutputfromapreamplifier,processororotheraudiodeviceisconnectedtothe
triggerinputhere,theamplifierwillpowerupandshutdownalongwiththefirstdevice.Anotherdevice(CDplayer,
amplifier,etc)canbeaddedtothischainusingthetriggeroutput.
9.MasterPowerSwitch‐Thisrockerswitchprovidesthemasterpowerfortheamplifier.AfteritisintheONposition,the
amplifiercanbeturnedonmanuallyfromthefrontpanelswitchorautomaticallywiththetriggerinputvia3.5mminputjack.
Undernormaluse,thisswitchshouldremainon,leavingtheamplifierinstandbyposition,andcomingtofullpowerwith
eitherthefrontpanel‘STANDBY’button,oractivationthroughtheremotetrigger.
