The date and time are set at the factory. Set the
time according to your local time. If you do not
use the camcorder for about a year, the date and
time settings may be released (bars may appear)
because the vanadium-lithium battery installed
in the camcorder will have been discharged. In
this case, first charge the vanadium-lithium
battery, then reset the date and time.
(1) While pressing the small green button on the
POWER switch, set it to CAMERA.
(2) Press MENU to display the menu on the LCD
screen.
(3) Select CLOCK SET, then press EXECUTE.
(4) Press v or V to adjust the year, and then press
EXECUTE.
(5) Set the month, day, hour and minutes by
pressing v or V and pressing EXECUTE.
(6) Press MENU to erase the menu display.
