ConnectingYourInverter

1. MakesuretheON/OFFrockerswitchlocatedonthefrontpaneloftheinverterisintheOFF(0)position.

2. Connectthecablestothepowerinputterminalsattherearoftheinvertermakingsuretomatchthecolor

codedcablestothecolorcodedterminals,andtighten

thescrewstomakeasecureconnection.Donotover

tightenthesescrews.NOTE:Black=Negative,Red=Positive.

3. ConnectthecablefromtheNegative(‐)terminal(BLACK)ontheinvertertotheNegativeterminalonthe12

voltpowersourcefirst.Doublechecktobesurethattheconnection

issecure.

4. Checkthatthecableyouhavejustinstalledisproperlyconnected.Makecertainthatthecableisconnected

tothenegativeterminalsonboththeinverterandthe12‐voltpowersource.

5. ConnectthecablefromthePositive(+)terminal(RED)ontheinvertertothePositive

terminalonthepower

source.Doublechec ktobesurethattheconnectionissecure.

6. TurntheinverterrockerswitchtotheON(I)position.TheLEDIndicatorLightshouldglowGREENconfirming

thatthereispowerrunningtotheinverter.

7. Turntheinverterrockerswitchtothe

OFF(0)position.(TheGREENLEDPowerIndicatorlightma y"blink"

brieflyand/ortheinternalaudiblealarmmaymakeamomentary"chirp."Thisisnormal.)Checkthatthe

appliancetobeoperatedisturnedOFF.PlugtheapplianceintooneofthetwoACreceptaclesonthefront

panelofthe

inverter.

8. TurntheinverterrockerswitchtotheON(I)position.Turntheequipmentorapplianceon.
