9. CAR FITTING LIST
The use of Isofix anchors and the support leg, which ensure optimum safety and easy installation, mean
that the PrioriFix is not suitable for all types of cars. The PrioriFix is designated as “semi-universal” and
therefore suitable for installation on the seats of specific cars only. These cars have been compiled in a list.
However, this list is subject to change and additions. For an up-to-date version of the car fitting list, visit the
Maxi-Cosi website at www.maxi-cosi.com and / or retail outlet for the PrioriFix, where you can inquire about
the suitability of the PrioriFix for your specific car. An up-to-date car fitting list is included with the purchase
of the PrioriFix.
10. WARRANTY
Dorel Netherlands guarantees that this product complies with all safety requirements as specified in the
current European safety standard ECE R44/04, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship
and material at the time of purchase. If this product shows material and / or workmanship defects after
purchase and during the warranty period (with normal use as described in the instruction manual), Dorel
Netherlands will assume the responsibility to repair or replace it. The warranty period is 24 months for
plastic parts, etc. and 12 months for other parts susceptible to wear. Normal wear and tear that can be
expected with daily use of the product is therefore hereby excluded
The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
• The product is not supplied to the manufacturer together with the original sales receipt.
• The defect is the result of incorrect or negligent use, or maintenance that is contrary to the instructions
given in the manual.
• Repairs have been carried out by third parties.
• The defect is the result of negligence or damage to the fabric or plastic due to a blow to the product.
• The defect is the result of an accident or occurs during transport as a result of, for example, overloading
or getting jammed in a door.
• The ECE quality mark and serial number have been damaged or removed.
• There is normal wear and tear to the parts, harnesses and / or fabric, as can be expected from daily use.
• There is damage to or indentation of the seat of the car and / or the safety belt. This is unavoidable
because of the prescribed safety standards and the force required to install a car seat tightly and correctly
(the manufacturer may not be held liable for this).
• The stated warranty terms and conditions have not been satisfied.
Date of effect:
• The warranty period goes into effect as of the date of purchase of the product.
Warranty term:
• The warranty on the plastic parts, etc. is valid for a period of 24 consecutive months. A term of 12
consecutive months applies to the textile components and other parts susceptible to wear and tear. The
warranty applies solely to the original owner and is non-transferable.
If you discover a defect:
• In the event of a defect, contact your retailer. If your retailer is unable to assist you, he will return the
product to the manufacturer together with a description of the complaint and the original, dated sales
receipt. An exchange or return may not be demanded. Repairs do not give a right to an extension of the
warranty term. Products that are returned directly to the manufacturer will NOT be eligible for the warranty.
This Warranty Clause conforms to European Directive 99/44/EG of 25 May 1999.
