4 To remove the seat pad, release the attaching pads on both side of the seat
pad. Pull the seat pads away from the seat.
5 To restore the seat pad
I. Cover the seat front with the seat pad.
II. Pull the harnesses and straps out through the designated opening on
the seat pad. Make sure the seat pad fits correctly and tightly onto the
seat
(Fig. 32).
III. Stuff the edge of the seat pad into the back plastic cover of the seat,
and attach the attaching pads to secure the seat pad
(Fig. 33).
6 Installing the protective shoulder straps.
I. Open the rear cover located at the seat back.
II. Insert the protective shoulder strap from one side to the other, so that
the webbing in between passes through the seat back
(Fig. 34).
III. Install the shoulder harness to the protective shoulder strap
(Fig. 35).
Additional Information
1 Make sure that your car seat is securely fastened in the vehicle when not in
use in case it throws around and injures occupants in a sharp turn, sudden
stop or collision.
2 DO NOT make any modification to the structure or safety belt system of
the car seat. For your child’s safety, DO check or immediately replace your
car seat after an accident of any kind.
3 It is highly recommended that any luggage or other objects to be fastened
up, they are liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision.

According to statistics, children are safer when properly restrained in rear
vehicle seating positions than front seating positions. Hence, it is highly rec-
ommended to have your car seat installed at the back seats of your vehi-
cle.
5 The car seat can become very hot after a lengthy exposure under the sun.
Contact with these parts can burn your child’s skin. Always touch the sur-
face of any metal or plastic parts before putting your child in the car seat.
