Hint: We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for

Dashboard
Turn the dashboard face down. Open the fasteners on the
cover to locate the battery compartment on the dashboard.
Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a
Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
Insert three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws
with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Remote Control
Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a
Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
Snap the contacts of a 9V (6LR61) alkaline battery to the
contacts inside the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws
with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Setup
Slide the power/volume control switch on to low volume .
The system is now active for approximately two hours.
Press the lion to hear a short song. Adjust the volume to a
comfortable listening level for your child by either:
- keeping the switch on low volume .
- sliding the switch to high volume .
Re-fasten the fasteners on the cover.
Hints:
- Although the system is active, unless the dashboard is
playing music or sound effects and lights are twinkling, only
a very small amount of battery power is being used.
- If the toy is not used for more than two hours, it turns off
automatically. To reactivate the toy, simply press the lion.

Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury
or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
Insert batteries as indicated on the battery compartment door.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always
remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of
batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
The batteries may explode or leak.
Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type,
as recommended.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only
to be charged under adult supervision.
