Emergency stop button is unlocked
(when the main cable is inserted):
– the charging process is started
– the battery indicator lamp is yellow and
flashing
Î Add distilled water one hour before the
end of the charging process; follow the
correct acid level. There are correspon-
ding indicators on the battery.
ƽ Danger
Danger of caustic material!
– Adding water to the battery in its dischar-
ged state can cause the acid to leak.
– Use safety glasses while handling batte-
ry acid and follow the safety instructions
to avoid personal injury or damage to
clothes.
– Should the acid spray on to the skin or
clothes, rinse immediately with lots of
water.
ṇ Warning
Risk of damage!
– Use only distilled or desalinated water
(VDE 0510) for filling the battery.
– Do not add any substances (so-called
performance improving agents), this will
void the warranty.
ṇ Warning
Only use maintenance-free batteries while
replacing batteries in package appliances.
Î If the emergency stop button is pressed,
turn the key switch to position 0 and re-
lease the emergency stop button by
turning.
Î Turn the main switch to "1".
ṇ Warning!
Risk of damage. Raise the squeegee tool
before reversing.
Note
To put the brush drive out of operation im-
mediately release the control handle.
ṇ Warning
Risk of damage. Only use the recommended
detergents. With respect to different deter-
gents the operator bears the increased risk
regarding the operational safety and danger
of accident. Only use detergents that are
free from solvents, hydrochloric acid and hy-
drofluoric acid.
Note
Do not use highly foaming detergents. Ob-
serve the meter mixing notes.
Detergent is added to the fresh water on the
way to the cleaning head with the help of a
dosaging device.
Note
1% detergent gets added via the metering
equipment. The metering can be set bet-
ween 0 and 3%. For higher metering, you
can add the entire quantity of detergent to
the fresh water tank.
The metering equipment has been designed
for 2.5 litre (0.66 gal) detergent bottles.
ṇ Warning
Risk of blocking on account of drying deter-
gent. The flow meter of the metering equip-
ment can stick on account of drying
detergent and hamper the functioning of the
Maintenance-free batteries (wet batte-
ries)
