Thepropertysheetsaredesignedsothatthedatadisplayedisalwayscurrent.Certainactionscausethe
entireregistermaptobereadfromthedeviceandtoupdatethepropertysheets.Thishappenswhen:
•Propertysheetsareinitiallyopened.
•Whentabbingfromonepagetoanother.
•WhenReadAllisclicked.
•WhenmakingtheTVP5154PropertySheetswindowtheactivewindow(byclickingonit).
•WhenmakingaTVP5154RegisterMapeditorwindowtheactivewindow(byclickingonit).
ThelasttwoitemsinthePropertySheetRefreshlist(seesection8.6.1)arereferredtoasthe
Auto-Updatefeature.Auto-UpdatecanbedisabledbysettingitsprogramoptionbuttontoDISABLED.
Thisbuttonislocatedontheinitialdialogbox(WinVCCConfiguration).
WithAuto-Updateenabled(default),theusercanopenboththeTVP5154PropertySheetsandthe
TVP5154RegisterMapeditoratthesametime.Changesmadetothepropertysheets(andapplied)are
updatedintheregistermapwindowassoonastheRegisterMapwindowisclickedon.Additionally,
changesmadeintheTVP5154RegisterMapeditorareupdatedintheTVP5154PropertySheetsassoon
asthepropertysheetswindowisclickedon.
