TheFilemenu(Figure14)providessomeoptionsforworkingwithscripts.Thefirstoption,Open
CommandFile...,loadsacommandfilescriptintothecommandbuffer.Thisscriptcanthenbeexecuted
bypressingtheExecuteCommandBufferbutton.
Thesecondoption,SaveCommandFile...,savesthecontentsofthecommandbufferintoafile.
ThethirdoptionisLogScriptandResults...,whichopensafilesavedialogbox.Theusercanchoosea
locationforalogfiletobewrittenusingthefilesavedialog.WhentheExecuteCommandBufferbuttonis
pressed,thescriptwillrunandthescript,alongwithresultingdatareadbackduringthescript,willbe
savedtothefilespecified.Thelogfileisastandardtextfilewhichcanbeopenedwithanytexteditor,and
looksmuchlikethesourcescriptfile,butwiththeadditionalinformationoftheresultofeachscript
commandexecuted.
ThethirdmenuitemisasubmenuofRecentlyOpenedFiles.Thislistissimplyalistofscriptfilesthat
havepreviouslybeenopened,allowingfastaccesstocommonly-usedscriptfiles.Thefinalmenuitemis
