Empty the dust cup regularly to maintain the efficient
performance of the cleaner.
The maximum dirt
level is marked on the
Dust Cup.
Failure to do this will impair the efficiency of the
cleaner.
Press the lid release downand lift the lid up
Carefully remove the dustcup from the cleaner.
Invert the dust cup over a bin. Press the catch on the lid which
will pop open. Shake and tap the dust cup lightly to remove as
much dust as possible. Close the lid. If you are still vacuuming,
replace the cup.
You must empty the Dust Cup before the dirt reaches the
MAX mark.
Switch the cleaner off and unplug it.
Cleaning the Dust Cup Filter
The HEPA Filter stops nearly all dust particles and airborne
allergens from re-entering the air you breathe.

Open the Dust Cup. Hold the funnel tube of the filter assembly.
Rotate the tube to the left (anti-clockwise) to unlock it. Lift the
filter assembly out.
Tap thefilter on the edge of a binto shake off any excess dust.
Brush out the HEPA filter with a soft brush. If the filter is soiled,
wash it under runningwater until it is thoroughly clean.
Allow the filter todry and then re insert it intothe Dust Cup.
When you have finished vacuuming you must clean the
dust cup filter. This is essential
NEVER replace a filter if it is damp.
