Note that:
. All “switches” are ON when they leave the factory
except for A5 (Auto CR-LF). Setting F1 to OFF will set
all switches to ON, except for A5.
● If switch F1 is set to OFF, the changes made to other
switches will have no effect. All switches will be reset
to factory settings.
. You should not change the setting of switch B4.

This switch determines what printer the LC24-300
Colour emulates (pretends to be). When ON, the LC24-
300 Colour emulates an Epson LQ-860, and when OFF,
the LC24-300 Colour emulates an IBM Propnnter X24E.

Auto Emulation Change( m
If this switch is ON, the LC24-300 Colour will automati-
cally change between the two emulations above,
depending on the data received. If this switch is OFF,
the printer will stay in whatever emulation you have
selected with Al.
