is up, the sprocketis locked.

Nowclosethe sprocketcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholes
are aligned with the pins on the sprockets.If they are not aligned
properly,youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresulting
in tearingandjammingof thepaper.
Turnonthepowerusingtheswitchlocatedatthefrontoftheprinter.The
printerwill‘beep,indicatingthat ttiepaperis notyet fullyloaded.This
is alsoconfirmedby the orange
POWERindicatorflashing.
10.Movethebailleverforward.Whenthebailopens,theprinterfeedsthe
paperautomatically.
11.Movethe bail lever back.The paperwill feed slightlyforward again,
endingin positionto printwith a top marginof aboutone inch.
12.Replacetherearcover.Holdit tiltedupwardandinsertthefourtabsat
thebottomintotheirslots.Thenrotatethecoverupwards,pressingthe
thumbpadson theleft andrightto snapitintoplace.
