Resuming Playback from
the Point Where You
Stopped the Disc (Resume
Play)
The player stor es the point wher e you stopped the disc
and if “RESUME” appears on the fr ont panel display . Y ou
can r esume playback fr om that point.
As long as you do not open the disc tray , Resume Play is
available even if you tur n the power of f.
1 While playing a disc, press p to stop playback.
“RESUME” appears in the fr ont panel display and
“When playing next time, disc r estar ts fr om point you
stopped.” appears on the TV scr een.
If “RESUME” does not appear , Resume Play is not
available.
2 Press ·.

When the playing time appears on the fr ont panel display befor e
you star t playing, pr ess p to reset the playing time, then pr ess

To play the disc frame by frame changing
the playback speed (Jog mode)
1 Press JOG.
JOG lights up during jog mode. When you pr ess JOG
on the player , it pauses.
2 Turn the click shuttle.
Depending on the turning speed, the playback goes to
frame-by-frame in the dir ection that the click shuttle is
turned. If you turn the click shuttle with constant
speed for a while, the playback speed goes to slow or
normal.
To return to Continuous Play
Press ·.
Notes
• The JOG indicator shows the mode of the cor responding click
shuttle. For example, when the JOG indicator on the r emote is
not lit, the r emote click shuttle will r emain in the shuttle mode
even if the indicator on the player is lit.
• If you don‘t operate the click shuttle for about 20 seconds after
pressing JOG, it r eturns to shuttle mode on the r emote. On the
player, it stays in jog mode.
