Please mind that with serif type fonts (e.g. Times)
and with type faces such as ”light” with letter sizes
of 4 and/or 5 pt. the minimum line width of 0.10
and 0.15 mm is not achieved and thus an ade-
quately larger letter size has to be selected.

4.4. Film Specifications
for Label Print
Unless indicated otherwise in one of the special
printing processes below, we will need smooth, full-
page screen printing films (positive, right side
reading, emulsion up).
Line widths and letter sizes
● The line width has to be at least 0.10 mm in
positive print.
● The line width has to be at least 0.15 mm in
negative print.
● The letter size has to be at least 4 pt. (1.50mm)
in positive print.
● The letter size has to be at least 5 pt. (1.88mm)
in negative print.
Registration marks for screen printing
The registration marks have to be arranged in the
centre to the label film.
