2. Beforeplacingthematerialonthemachine,seethattheendsofthethreadshavebeendrawnabout4 inchestotherearofthemachine.Holdonto threads
duringthesewingofthefirst3or4 stitchesof theseam,
3. Testthemachinestitchonascrapoffabricyouplantouse.Thefabricshouldbedoublethickness,Adjustthemachineforthelengthofstitchandtension
suitabletoyourfabric.
4. Fabricshouldbeplacedunderthepresserfootwiththebulkof thematerialto theleftoftheneedleandtherightedgeofthematerialplacedonthe5/8"
seammarkingontheneedleplatewhenmakingasimpleseam.
5. Runthemachineataslowevenspeed.Themorepressureyouputonthefootcontrol,thefasterthemachinewillsew.
6. FasteneachseambybacktacMngatthebeginningandendoftheseam.
7. Alwaysfimshsewingeachseamwiththeneedleatitshighestpoint,
8. Guidethefabricgentlywithyourhandinfrontoftheneedle.Neverpullorholdthefabricinsuchawaythatthenormalfeedingisaltered.
