Dialing Options
Dialing options are displayed when you enter numbers using the
keypad. To select an option press and the number on the keypad
that corresponds with the desired choice.
• Talk is used to dial the phone number. (If you are roaming and
have the Call Guard feature activated, you must then
press .
• Save to save the phone number in your Internal Phone Book.
See "Finding Internal Phone Book Entries" on page 62.
• Find is used to locate and display Internal Phone Book entries
that contain the numbers entered. See "Finding Internal Phone
Book Entries" on page 62.
• Hard Pause is used to insert a hard pause.
• 2 Second Pause to insert a 2-second pause.
• Speed Dial is used to automatically dial the entry stored in the
memory location entered.
• Abbrev. Dialing Abbreviated dialing allows you to enter a six-
digit prefix for commonly used phone numbers.
• 4 Digit Dial allows you to dial just the four digits displayed on
the screen.
Note: Abbrev Dialing, 4 Digit Dial, and Speed Dial menus are displayed
when the Abbrev Dial feature is enabled in the Settings and you enter 3-4
digits.
