SMS Feature (Text Message)
Sending Your Message to a Terminal Number
This feature is subject to the network service. Please contact your Network provider.
If the receiver has more than one base unit telephone connected to the same line, you
can choose what base unit telephone receives your message by selecting a Terminal
number. If the receiver has only one base unit telephone, there is no requirement to carry
out this operation.
Sending Your Message to a Public Key
This feature is only available when the other party has a Panasonic SMS-compatible fixed
line telephone, or an SMS-compatible fixed line telephone from another manufacturer
which features Public Keys. You can send a private message to a specific person.
Requesting a Receipt for Your Sent Message
This feature is subject to the network service. Please contact your Network provider.
You can request a receipt that your message has been sent from SMS service provider.
• You can choose a Terminal number, Public Key and receipt all before sending your
message.
• Press dialling button through to enter the Terminal number.
• After you select “Send”, “Sending Message” is displayed. The display returns to the
standby mode, then “Transferring Message” is displayed.
Follow steps 1 to 7 on pages 48, 49 and 50, then:

(1-9).
