HOLD
To put a call on hold while you answer another call, place a call, or
perform some other task
1 Press
.
• Green light next to the held call appearance flutters.
NOTE: If you put a conference call on hold, the other parties remain
connected.
To answer a new call while active on another call
1 Press
.
• Green light next to the held call appearance flutters.
2 Press the call appearance of the incoming call.
To return to the held call (dropping the new call)
1 Press the call appearance of the held call.
MUTE
To prevent the other party from hearing you
1 Press
.
• Red light next to goes on; the other person on the call cannot
hear you.
2 When you want to resume the conversation with the other person on the
call, press again.
• Red light next to button goes off; the other person can hear you
again.
NOTE: The Mute feature has no effect when an adjunct is active. Use the Mute
feature on the adjunct equipment.
