NOTE: If your trafc receiver
has a trial subscription, it does
not need to be activated and
you do not need to purchase
a subscription until the trial
subscription expires.
North American Options
Your FM trafc subscriptions and
expiration dates are listed. Touch Add to
add a subscription.
Non-North American Options
Auto—select which provider to use.
Select Auto to use the best provider for
the area, or select a specic provider to
use.
Search—search for additional TMC
trafc providers. To increase the search
time, touch Yes to clear provider table.
Subscriptions—view your FM trafc
subscriptions and expiration dates. Touch
Add to add a subscription.
Adding a Subscription
You can purchase additional
subscriptions or a renewal if your
subscription expires. Go to the Garmin
FM Trafc Web site at www.garmin
.com/fmtrafc.
NOTE: You do not need to
activate the subscription included
with your FM trafc receiver (if it
came with one). The subscription
activates automatically after your
nüvi acquires satellite signals
while receiving trafc signals
from the service provider.
1. From the Menu page, touch Tools
> Settings > Trafc.
2. For Non-North American units,
touch Subscriptions > Add. For
North American units, touch Add.
3. WritedowntheFMtrafc
receiver’sunitID.
4. Go to www.garmin.com/fmtrafc to
purchase a subscription and get a
25-character code.
