Locating the outdoor unit
• Locate the outdoor unit where the air
flow around it is not obstructed.
• Ensure that the base is level and does
not exceed the maximum slope of 5
degrees.
• Secure the unit to a base with anchor
bolts to reduce vibrations and noise.
• Place the unit with access space for
servicing and maintenance.
• Do not install the unit near a heat
source, steam source and flammable
gas.
• Ensure that the minimum distances
around the unit are maintained as
shown on the right.
• For Heatpump unit, mount the unit
above the snow line, if possible.
