Saving and Sharing Your Recordings
First-time connection to a computer running Windows
The first time you connect the camcorder to the computer, you
also need to select the CameraWindow auto-launch setting.
Connecting the Camcorder to a Computer
1 Power the camcorder using the compact power
adapter.
2 Open the [y¸] or [}] index screen (A 69, 77).
3 Connect the camcorder to the computer using the sup-
plied USB cable.
• Connection 2. Refer to Connection Diagrams (A 155).
• Camcorder: When the connection is successfully estab-
lished, [USB Connection] appears on the screen.
• Computer: CameraWindow will start automatically.
Windows users only: If you did not set up the auto-launch
setting, open CameraWindow manually.
4 Save the MP4 movies and photos onto the computer.
