Saving and Sharing Your Recordings
Copying Recordings to an External Video
Recorder
Connect the camcorder to Blu-ray Disc recorders and other
AVCHD-compatible digital video recorders using the supplied
USB cable to make perfect copies of your movies in high defini-
tion. If the external digital video recorder has an SD memory
card slot*, you can use the memory card to copy your movies
without connecting the camcorder.
* Make sure the external device is compatible with the type of memory
card used.
• The following types of MP4 scenes will be recognized
as multiple files on a computer.
- Scenes exceeding 4 GB.
- Scenes exceeding 1 hour.
• Users of Windows XP and later and Mac OS X: Your
camcorder is equipped with the standard Picture Trans-
fer Protocol (PTP) allowing you to transfer photos
(JPEG only) and MP4 movies simply by connecting the
camcorder to a computer using the supplied USB
cable, without having to install ImageBrowser EX.
