GENERAL LUBRICATION
(Figure 8)
1. Place unit into the service position (See
Service Position on page 16).
IMPORTANT: Wipe each fitting clean before
and after lubrication. DO NOT allow grease or
oil to get on friction disc, friction plate or belts.
2. Apply Hi-Temp Grease or equivalent to
the lubrication fittings after the first 16
hours of use and every 8 hours
thereafter. See Service Parts on
page 28.
3. Apply a few drops of oil to the roller
chain at the beginning of the season or
every 25 operating hours.
NOTE: Brush attachment gear case is
lubricated at the factory and should not
require additional lubrication.
4. Place unit into the operating position
(See Operating Position on page 17).
