OBD II Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTCs)
✓ DTCs are used to help determine the cause of a problem or
problems with a vehicle.
❒ DTCs consist of a five-digit alphanumeric code.

DTCs there are assigned ranges for different vehicle systems.
