Warranty
Checklist
Important: read through this checklist before starting your journey.
Check that you have secured the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System in the seat belt correctly.
Check that the car safety belt is tight and secure around the child and the shoulder belt is at the correct height
(fig. D-3).
Secure the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System with the seat belt, even when not in use. Any loose objects may
be a danger to other passengers.
If you have any questions please contact your supplier and ensure you have the following details to hand:
- the last number on the orange label (serial number) on the rear of the seat
- make and type of vehicle and on which seat in the vehicle the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System is used
- age and weight of your child.
Warranty
Dorel Netherlands guarantees that this product complies with all safety requirements as specified in the current
European safety standard ECE R44/04, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and material at the
time of purchase. If this product shows material and/or workmanship defects after purchase and during the warranty
period (with normal use as described in the instruction manual), Dorel Netherlands will assume the responsibility to
repair or replace it. The warranty period is 24 months for the plastic parts, etc. and 12 months for fabric components
and other parts susceptible to wear. Normal wear and tear that can be expected with daily use of the product is
therefore hereby excluded.
The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
The product is not supplied to the manufacturer together with the original sales receipt.
The defect is the result of incorrect or negligent use, or maintenance that is contrary to the instructions given in the
manual.
The Repairs have been carried out by third parties.
The There is discolouration, damage to the fabric or watermarks due to washing and excessive exposure to (UV)
sunlight.
The The defect is the result of negligence or damage to the fabric or plastic due to a blow to the product.
The The defect is the result of an accident or occurs during transport as a result of, for example, overloading or
getting jammed in a door.
The The ECE quality mark and serial number have been damaged or removed.
The There is normal wear and tear to the parts, harnesses and/or fabric, as can be expected from daily use.
The There is damage to or indentation of the seat of the car and/or the safety belt; this is unavoidable because of the
prescribed safety standards and the force required to install a car seat tightly and correctly (the manufacturer may
not be held liable for this).
The The stated warranty terms and conditions have not been satisfied.
Date of effect:
The The warranty period goes into effect as of the date of purchase of the product.
Warranty term:
The The warranty on the plastic parts, etc. is valid for a period of 24 consecutive months. A term of 12 consecutive
months applies to the textile components and other parts susceptible to wear and tear. The warranty applies solely to
the original owner and is non-transferable.
