If you have purchased this car seat and will be using it immediately in
Booster Car Seat Mode, you will need to: assemble the pads to the head-
rest and seat; remove the 5-point harness; remove the rod; and remove the
“wing” cushion.
To assemble the seat pad, refer to pages 23-26 in the 5-Point Harness
Mode section and follow assembly steps 7, 9 and 11. To assemble the
headrest pad, refer to pages 30-31 in the 5-Point Harness Mode section
and follow assembly steps 17 to 19.
To remove the 5-point harness, rod, tether strap and tuck the crotch strap
away, please proceed to the next section, Converting Modes, page 10.
