Belt-Positioning Booster Use
Some vehicle belts will not
work with a child restraint.
See previous page for specific
instructions.
Booster with Backrest:
30-100 lbs (13.6-45.4 kg)
34-57 in. (85.1-144.8 cm)
and Over 1 Year Old.
Vehicle lap/shoulder belt
combination.
Child and child restraint face
the front of the vehicle and
are placed in the back seat.
Booster without Backrest:
40-100 lbs (18.1-45.4 kg)
43-57 in. (110.1-144.8 cm)
and Over 1 Year Old.

This auto booster must only be used in vehicles with
appropriate vehicle belts that can be tightened securely. If
the vehicle belt cannot be tightened securely, it
must be replaced. This booster MUST only be used
with a lap/shoulder belt. Belt systems which will not
work with this child auto booster (or sometimes any child
restraint) include, but are not limited to, the following:
Do not use with any automatic/passive vehicle seat
belt.An automatic (passive) 2-point belt has no lap belt.You
must install a lap belt to secure a child restraint.You may
also need to install an extra lap belt for an automatic
(passive) 3-point belt. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual.
If your vehicle belt is too short, contact your vehicle
dealer for a seat belt extender. Do not route the seat belt
any way except as shown in the instructions.
You must move the auto booster to another
seating location if the belts come out of the center
of the door or side panel (A); or if the buckle is in
the middle of the vehicle seat cushion (so that they
are forward of the bight) (B).
